Description: For sale is a vintage Homer Laughlin Eggshell Georgian Platter -1944. The perfect serving platter for the holidays! For your consideration is a gorgeous old platter with green backstamp: Eggshell Georgian, Homer Laughlin, Made in USA, K44 N5. The K stands for November, 1942; the N5 means it was produced at plant 5. (see Lehner's Book of Marks, pg. 246). This platter would be perfect to serve h'orderves on, or x-mas cookies, even if you don't have this china pattern in your cupboard! Good condition, no chips or cracks; does not look like it was used much if at all and is 13.5 x 10.75. The red border is quite attractive on this platter! Great to use, display or give as a unique hostess or housewarming gift!
