Description: This is a gorgeous Mr. John Jr. hat made of soft heather colored felt with an applied pattern in gray wool yarn outlined with black faceted beads. The inside rim measures approx. 22 inches, and it is in near mint condition. A 2 inch area of the inner ribbom edging is coming loose, but can easily be restitched. The inner label and box note the maker. The round box has a thin rope handle. On the top and on the bottom is printed: "For the World's Best-Dressed Debs and Misses," Mr. John Jr., 24 West 57th Street New York 19, N.Y., New York, Palm Beach, Paris. The box lid has 3 tears to the surface paper, and a section of the lid's rim is split and damaged (see photo). The box itself is in very good to excellent condition.
