Description: Very unique 1973 calendar. Each page has a different hanky with a beautiful floral display as the picture at the top of the page. When the month is over, rip off the calendar page and you have a brand new Hankie! The 1st four months are missing but the rest are intact along with a different brand new handkerchief at the top of each page. The days of the month are written in French, German & English. This might have been a giveaway from a bank. The back reads Uberreicht dosch Overhoss sche Bank AG Friedberg/Hessen. The back of the calendar also written in in the 3 languages reads: This calendar contains 12 (only 8 left) Handkerchiefs for Ladies of a superior quality. They are light resisting, washable, and colour fast! It shall give you much pleasure! Trace Mark! Also is a sticker that reads Indanthren. Also written Ernst A. Weggerie, 722 Schwenningen/Neckar, Postfach 152, Telefon (07720) 5895 Telex 0794534. It measures 16 1/2" x 11 1/2". Now for the good part! There are 8 brand new hankies still attached to the calendar. I am not sure of the flower names but the two that I do know is Pink Roses & the Christmas Poinsettia. Please see pictures of the flower Hankies. The hankies measure 10 1/2" X 10". The bottom right hand corner of each hankie is signed Em Jo Pe. I believe the hankies are made of cotton.
