Description: Vintage Gilt Brass & Glass Figure of a Shore Bird, Mid-Late 20th C. Possibly Austria. The figure features a gilt brass head and neck with acrylic eyes mounted on a colorless glass body with white swirl pattern. The figure is not visibly signed or marked. Price Comparison: $400-600 in Fine Art & Antiques Gallery. Dimensions: 8" High, 11-3/4" Long, 4-1/2" Wide. Weight: 8.4lbs. (134oz.) Condition: There is some rubbing/wear to the gilt surface of the brass head/neck. There are some scratches to the surface of the eyes. There are a few minor scratches to the surface of the glass body and some light shelf-wear (surface scratching) to the underside of the base. There are a number of tiny surface chips/flakes (fleabites) to the glass along the edge of the base rim. Otherwise, the figure is in good condition.
