Description: Vintage Georg Jensen ornamental beaded, sterling silver serving spoon with serrated edge to bowl in pattern #41 . Made in Copenhagen, Denmark. From a vintage collection of Georg Jensen silver.

Measures 5 1/2 inches long and weighs approx 33grams.

Serving spoon, with serrated rim, to assist in catching food. Double-waisted, arched handle, little belts at the two waist-indentations. The terminal in the form of a double loop, the latter with a string of beads, like buds. This is classic Georg Jensen understated elegance with top quality execution.

Inscribed marks underneath: model number 41; Name Georg Jensen in an oval of indented dots; DENMARK STERLING. We believe this is the earlier mark used during the 1930's, not block stamped, but engraved a little less evenly than the similar mark used post 1945. We are open to correction on this issue.
