Description:
I love Vintage Fitz & Floyd because they have such a whimsical
look. This Zipper Guy set is a great example. I don't know how
many pieces were in the original set but I have combined these 3
pieces for a great collection.
The large vase is 7.25 inches tall by 3 inches wide and has a
pressed stamp FF with a black Japan stamp. It also has the older
FF Japan white & black label and a yellow sticker from Lillian
Simons Flowers. An embossed blue tooth zipper runs down the
length of the vase and a little man with yellow hair and a green
polka dot shirt is looking out of the parted top of the zipper.
The condition is very good with no damage that I can find.
The second piece is a small narrow vase that is 5.25 inches tall
including the man and 2 inches across. It has the little man in a
green polka dot shirt with a leg over the side of the vase but this
piece does not have a zipper. The bottom has the ©FF and the
old FF sticker. The condition is very good with no damage.
The third piece is a small covered box with the little man
hanging over the side holding on to the pull of the zipper that
goes across the top. The box is 2.5 inches tall including the man
and 2.75 inches across. It is in good condition with only one tiny
ding in the glaze on the rim of the lid. The bottom has the FF
stamp and sticker. All the pieces have a light gray cast to the
pottery glaze. Look at my inventory asI will be adding more
vintage Fitz & Floyd pieces in the future.
