Offered here is an important vintage book: A Dreamer's Tales, by Dunsany, Lord (Edward Plunkett). [undated, 1916]. Likley First American Edition. Octavo, pp. [1-16] 1-194 [blank], nine inserted plates with illustrations by Sidney H. Sime, untrimmed paper. Black cloth-backed russet paper boards, gilt imprinting and trim. A Remarkable well-preserved example of a very scarce edition. Author's fifth book. Dunsany"s singular and mood-steeped imagination was an irresistible influence on later genre authors. This is a remarkable copy - I have close-ups of the spine head and heel for you to look at. The only issue is that there is a slight lean and the cover corners have very minor bumps! Page top edges dusty - rest rough cut - deckled edges. There is a very tiny Bookseller's sticker on the inside back cover at the bottom next to the hinge.
