Description: Vintage Saturday Evening Post Art Deco Ad with fabulous design appeal featured in this original Graham-Paige Auto Ad for 1929. The combination of modern design aesthetic and color revolution made the year 1929 a magnificent ending to a splendid era. Automobile design was at the height of it's glamour and beauty with a sophisticated and unusual color palette as one of the chief selling points. Graham-Paige Motors had begun the decade with an audacious announcement that Paige was the most beautiful car in the world. This is an elegant and ultra-smart roadster glimmering in sea- blue green shades with wire-wheels and a convertible top in contrasting beige- simply stunning. Ad copy informs the reader that in fourth gear the car reach top speed of fifty miles per hour- though it is so smooth a ride it will seem like thirty-eight. Ad is in excellent condition and taken from a 1929 issue of Saturday Evening Post. Note mention of speed, style and agility with no indication whatever of price-line. Excitingly designed image that will appeal to the antique auto-buff or Vintage Deco fan in your life- exquisite in person. Measures 11 x 14. All items at A Fine Madness Collectibles are guaranteed original Vintage, Antique Ads, Prints, Artwork, Postcards, Hollywood and Paper Ephemera- never reproductions or copies. You are buying from a seller and collector of over twenty years standing. Question? Feel free to contact me with any prior to purchasing.
