Description: Beautifull pine needle basket as only the Cherokee can make them. No name on this basket, in excellent condition, no broken threads, no loss of pine needles, no stains. The basket measures 4.5 inches tall, 7 inches across the top, about 25 inches around, and the base is 4 inches across. The variegated threads, wrapped around the pine needles are cotton, and there is a thread for hanging the basket. I don't think this came from New Mexico, probably Oklahoma, however there is a Cherokee Tribe in New Mexico. thanks for shopping in the Land of the Cherokee!
