Description: Mermaid Wanted, this aquarium sign says it all for many aquarium ornament collectors! Mermaids are always desirable and sought after. This sign would look really cute beside a few of the ladies or keeping a diver company. I have a similar sign for my collection and was happy to find this one for some other lucky collector. The sign has obviously been used in an aquarium from the algae deposits that are visible, but I think that adds to the appeal. The condition is good with a few minor glaze skips and rubs. My own sign has a large Korea stamp and had to have been made at the same time, but this one is blank on the bottom. The ornament is heavy, to hold its position in the sand. The brown glaze has some shiny green highlights and the sign board is cream.
