we have a wonderful Oyster Platewith an Unknown Maker. The colors are Luster pink, white with Brown. The measurements of this plate are 9" at the widest and tallest sides.It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or flea bites or paint loss.

Oyster Plates were commonly used in the 1900's. In the Victorian era this was an appropriate serving dish for oysters. When Raw Oysters were consumed by the bushels, although today Oysters are not favored by as many people, the plates are quite collectible. xx96
