Description: For sale is a vintage brass double card box. Beautiful old double card box. This is a brass box with red enameling or cloisonne. The exterior has a very darkened patina compared to the bright interior lid. It is not signed, but looks like something made in Asia or India in the early part of the 20th C, and I base that on the wood lining the interior of this box. I have similar boxes that are dated that have the wood lining on the interior. Contemporary boxes do not have the wood lining the interior.
