Vintage Brass Box Purse

Nice cut work that acts as the frame to the black satin form that sits inside.

Everything is original except the chain, which I replaced from a very sturdy heavy gold tone chain that originally was a necklace. The chain is a bit more shiny than the purse since the purse has some aged patina. Both the purse and the chain are not solid brass but some type of colored or plated metal.

The condition of the brass frame is good. There are some scratches here and there but no corrosion. The is a minuscule amount of wear to fabric of the top of the lid that is very faint. The inside of the lid has the remnants of some dried glue where a mirror use to be. I would not take much to glue in a new mirror. The rest of the inside lining is good.

Here are the measurements: 2 ¾” x 3 7/8” x 8” and the chain is a total of 30”

So it not perfect but still a sweet vintage box purse.
