Stunningly beautiful blue cabochon glass with silver colored metallic flecks unsigned demiparure. This set consists of large clip on earrings & necklace of ornate silver cast metal with gorgeous huge oval cabochon of blue glass containing silver metallic flecks. Surrounding each cab is 4 blue faceted rhinestones. The cabochon of the earrings stand up from the setting 6mm high. The pendent in which the cabochon is larger but set more shallow in the setting and it dangles down from a ornate bar that chain is attached. There are 3 of the sapphire colored blue stones set in that piece.
I cannot even think of an appropriate word to describe the color of the glass cabochons. Too me , the color seems like it is an opalescent moonstone color deep dark slate blue loaded with reflective silvery flecks. Although in certain light they look more periwinkle blue. On the pendant the edges have more of a milky look that transforms into being translucent. The earring have the same effect but it not as obvious. This tends to make the cabs look more like natural occurring agates.
There is a box type clasp that is original to the set. The silver metal of the chain and settings has a dark patina that would be criminal to try to polish off. The patina is essential to the whole look and charm of wearing most vintage pieces.
The pictures there do not even come close to capturing the rich and elegant beauty of this set. You will just have to trust me on this one.

Earrings are 1 ¼ “ x 7/8” and is ½ high from the back.
Necklace from clasp to tip of pendent hang down 9 7/8”
The pendent alone is 1 ¾ “ including the fastener ring and the jump ring. The curved bar that the pendant hangs from is 1.5” long. And ½ “ wide.
