Description: This vintage mourning umbrella is covered in a black acetate type material. It has a metal shaft and ribs, and a strap with a snap to wrap around and close it. There are no holes in this umbrella, and all but 1 rib are attached in place and in good condition. The tip is made out of brass covered copper and has many dents in it. The knob handle is made out of a clear yellow plastic with black swirling through it like ink. Attached to each side are screw loops, for connecting to what I don't know.
