Description:
Vintage Belle Epoque Couple embrace in lovely French Tinted Real Photo Postcard of 1912. Wonderful image of adorable pair of lovers in lakeside- possibly studio- setting with cupid complete with cupid, roses and poem entitled La Bonne Aventure. The delicacy of the image is what makes it stand out- the flowers are tinted in glorious shades of pink and pale yellow here elaborate gown is done in blues and lavenders that emphasize it's graceful femininity. Postcard is divided back and was mailed and stamped- no date about 1912. A delightful example of the hand-tinted postcards of the Belle Epoque Era. Condition is good and bright overall no wear or tearing anyplace. A wonderful addition to any collection!
