Description: This pattern is reminiscent of the early American pressed glass called "Sandwich Glass". It featured lacy, intricate designs, fine background stippling and exquisite brilliance which reflected the superb craftsmanship of its makers. The pattern name commemorates the spirit of the 1876 Philadelphia Centennial, the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and Cape Cod, the area where Sandwich glass originated, Avon produced this piece in 1990. These glasses are just over 5" tall, they are in excellent never used condition, come in the original boxes, boxes are in good condition with slight shelf ware. They are a harder to find piece, from a smoke free home and would be a terrific addition to your set! Several of these available just select the amount you would like to order.
