Description: This appears to be a well-made handmade cloth handbag from the arts and crafts period. It has a brass frame with a twin ball and ring snap clasp. The interior of the sides and bottom appear to be cardboard covered in black wool. The front is decorated with a green, red and tan patterned material, and swirls of small glass cylindrical beads of various colors. Also added are red plastic and metal leaves. In the middle is a needlepoint design which has been glued to the purse around the edges with more cylindrical beads. The front has been edged along the sides with swirling black piping lace. The interior is lined in black plastic which appears to be in excellent condition. There are no pockets or maker's tags. The purse is 9" tall, 7" wide at the top, 10" wide at the bottom, and 2.5" deep at the bottom. This purse is in great condition.
