Description: For sale is a vintage signed art pottery vase. Heavy, exceptionally well made matte aqua vase or ashtray that looks like Arts & Crafts/Studio pottery. It has an incised number and name on the bottom dry rims, however, I could not make out the name, so I put a water-based paint wash just over the incised mark to see if I could make out the name. It looks like there is a G-i-or l, then another letter, then an x, and then I can't make it out. The number looks like 4001 or 4004. (All the paint has been removed). This bird vase is in very good condition, w/faint crazing that you can only see upon very close inspection. It measures 6 long, 3 wide x 4 tall. A fabulous unique piece for your collection!
