Description: This lovely vintage alligator handbag is in art deco style, with sharp lines on each side expanding towards the bottom. It measures 8-1/2" tall and 12" across at the top and 15" across at the bottom. The clasp is an unusual style with two oval brass buttons on an oblong mount. When the frame fits over it and presses down on a latch, it lets the two buttons turn sideways to allow the fitting. A 16" leather handle mounts to each side along the top. The interior is lined in brown leather. On the backside is a zippered pocket with an open pocket below it. On the inside is a pocket with a slot in the middle which might hold a lipstick. This handbag is in lovely vintage condition!
