Description:
Fantastic matched vintage Abingdon Pottery cabinet vases. c:1941-1946. Both for one price!. Drop dead gorgeous, one-of-a-kind Abingdon vases featuring a lot of gold, with transferware figurines, (ladies), in center. No chips or cracks; just some wear off the gold on the exterior part of handles. They stand 8 tall x 3.75 wide at top rim. Bottoms have USA in blue inkstamp in a rectangle, and incised number #535. These vase are shown in the book on pg. 101 in the solid color, not decorated. Very unique Abingdon vases, and great if you have Traditional or Victorian style furnishings! Put them on each end of a mantle, vanity, breakfront, etc.! The book on Abi. pottery shows some decorated vases, but none have as much gold on them as this pair.
