Description: This goldtone art deco style "initials" powder compact was made in Switzerland by AGME in the 1940's,and comes with a light brown felt cover. Each arm pulls out from the sides from the bottom to access the wheels used to change the initials". The mirror inside looks powdery from the back but is clean. The base has a door separating the mirror from the powder compartment. It is engraved on the bottom "AGME" and "MADE IN SWITZERLAND." Pressing the lever on the right opens the door. Inside is the sifter, used puff and a little bit of powder. Other than the "foggy" mirror, this compact is in excellent condition.
