Fabulous! Depression Era Safari hat! Made from canvas, Leather, and a clear bakelite covering inside. All hand made, hand sewn, made in India. If you have ever watched the old silent movies, like "Gunga Din", you can see these old hats. In good condition, the inside hat band is black patent leather, and the inside of the hat is covered with a clear bakelite. The label inside says made in India. There is a leather band across the outside top. The hat measures 12 inches across the long way, and 9 inches across, th hat crown is 5 inches high. The circumference inside the hat brim is 21 inches, there is no size label.For purposes of calculating shipping my zip code is 88007. This is the ultimate in recycling.
