Known throughout the art world as “Vinciata”, Joseph Wallace King studied at Corcoran School of Art and the Catholic University in Washington, D.C.
Vinciata is renowned for his portraits, which depict a single figure set in a dramatic landscape. Among the many distinguished portraits which Vinciata painted are those of Queen Elizabeth ll: Madame Pandit: President Richard M Nixon; the four kings of Saudi Arabia, Ibn Saud, Faisal, Kahlid, and Fahd; and Prince Bandar, Saudi Arabian ambassador to the United States.
His works are represented in many public and private collections, including Buckingham Palace in London; The Lincoln Museum and Constitutional Hall in Washington, D.C.; and the Virginia Mil Institute in Lexington, Virginia.
