Description: Gorgeous detailed Villeroy and Boch Mettlach 3 litre Stein with a grey/blue body and embossed cream colored grape vine design on the sides and top. This design is around an off white embossed design of a musician in a grape arbor with a German verse below. Pewter mounting for the lid. All in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Marked on the bottom in dark green with what looks like an angel with wings at the top, a banner reading Villeroy and Boch, and Mettlach in an arch below. Impressed with the number 1821. The thumb lift on the pewter part of the lid is embossed with a ram head design.
