Description: It is our pleasure to offer a truly magnificent Victorian Wedgwood cookie barrel. Mounted on a silver plated base, it posseses a silver plated top a ring around the top of the barrel. The barrel itself is made of blue jasperware with neo-classical Greek ladies and neo-classical dividers bewtwen each figure. The base is marked with a WW for Wedgwood and 1L. There is also an inscribed number of 109. The plate is in excellent condition. Concealed by the lower rim, and caused by the lower rim are a few darker marks on the barrel. These again are were caused by the barrel being removed from it base. The metal base is slightly out of kilter, one of the legs is slightly bent and I have not endeavoured to straighten it.
