Nice victorian style vase from the 1940's 50's era. This vase is white with pink roses and heavy gold trim. This vase bears the Mark No.2 for the Weissman Company located in New York and East Palestine, Ohio. The company went out of business in July 1957 when the owner, Nat Weissman died. The Dwight Morris China Company often produced lovely porcelain for the Weissman Company and Mark No. 2 (in Lehner's Encyclopedia of U.S. Marks) identifies this transaction.
