Description: This wonderful rosewood Victorian sofa has exceptional floral carvings. The crests have pierced carved garlands of 3 different flowers with leaves and vines. Between the cameo backs are more deeply carved floral sprays. The couch is extremely curvaceous with the elegantly curved arms, serpentine shaped sofa seat and cabriole legs. There are supports and extensive carvings along the skirt of the sofa. The soft red color velvet is in excellent condition. The backs are deeply tufted. There is an old professional repair on the left cameo frame. The repair is only visible upon close inspection. The frame is tight and the original finish is in excellent condition. What a great quality Victorian Sofa.
