Description: 9K yellow gold antique Victorian bar pin in a snake or serpent motif, circa 1870s. The detail on the pin is nice, right down to the scales and the engraving on his head. He has a red stone eye (too small to identify) and is "holding" a small pearl in his mouth. The pin stem is hinged and fits into a "C" shaped hook. This piece has aquired a nice patina that we have left in place.
