Description:
This stunning solid walnut bookcase was crafted in during the Victorian period in England, around 1890. The wood is nearly flawless and really looks amazing. As a matter of fact, the overall condition of this piece is near museum-quality. The upper section is a two shelved bookcase, enclosed by two astragal glazed glass doors. The doors have a working lock and key. The lower section of this bookcase features two drawers, each with solid brass pulls and dovetailed joints on both the front AND back of the drawers (pictured below). The narrow turned legs are joined by shaped stretchers at the bottom for additional stability. Once again, this bookcase is in amazing condition. It looks beautiful and would make a lovely addition to any classically decorated home. Don't miss this opportunity to make it yours today!
