Description: Lovely Victorian necklace - a pendant made in silver and set with paste stones (very very pale aqua) suspended on a gold chain, and having a gold suspension loop to the lower tear-shaped drop of the pendant. The main chain is silver. Total length or chain is 46.5 cm (18.1/4 inches). The pendant is a further 5 cm below this (2 inches). The actual size of the pendant is 3.2 cm by 3 cm (1.1/4 inches by 1.3/16 inches). This use of silver and gold together was always a popular European mix. 19th century.
