Description:
Jelliff Victorian Walnut Renaissance Revival 82” Sofa with the Original Finish. This rare Victorian Revival Sofa that is attributed to John Jelliff, Newark, New Jersey.
There are three beautifully carved crests across the back, and a shaped frame with a mid section in between two taller sections. This is an elegant Victorian Sofa. The two pierced carved crests have ribbons floating off the crests, with hanging wood tassels between the sections. Each side has a carved Princess Bust. The front has four fancy turned legs.
The frame is in good original condition, but does need to be reupholstered. There have been some minor frame repairs.
