Description: Hair Necklace & Earring Set Circa. 1870 American. Jewelry made from human hair. Quite common during the Victorian era. Not very many items survive, especially in pristine condition. This is a complete set; necklace with matching earrings. All original. All pristine. Necklace is choker size - 14 1/2 inches long- with 14K gold detail, 3 drops that are 1 inch long, 1/4 inch wide. Matching earrings are also with 14K gold detail. Earrings measure 1 1/2 inches long (without wires) and 3/8 inch wide. Also in pristine condition. Necklace weighs only 9.7 gr., earrings weigh 2.0 gr. No imperfections whatsoever.
