Description: Fabulous large victorian brass necklace centered by a beautiful green agate. The agate is superb bright green and highly veined. Typical of Georgian to mid-Victorian jewelry. The Victorian's believed agate to give the ability to accept circumstances and brass was commonly used in jewelry of this period. A filigree four leaf clover sits atop the agate and has a tiny agate in the center. The brass surround is mostly open around the bezel. Still has the original bale or fob. Measures 1-7/8" x 1-3/8", bale measures and additional 3/8". In outstanding condition, with the exception that one tiny stone which sat in the middle of the bale or fob is missing.
