Description: HERE IS A LOVELY OIL ON CANVAS VICTORIAN PAINTING OF A SERVANT GIRL READING A BOOK BY WINDOW LIGHT BESIDE A BLAING FIREPLACE IN A KITCHEN. IT HAS VERY NICE DETAIL AND COLOR. IT IS FRAMED IN A BEAUTIFULLY GILDED VICTORIAN FRAME THAT IS IN OUTSTANDING CONDITION. THE ONLY BLEMISH TO THIS WORK IS A TINY HOLE ONE HALF INCH FROM THE VERY TOP OF THE PICTURE (SEE IMAGE)WHICH IS VIRTUALLY UNNOTICIBLE UNLESS IT IS POINTED OUT. THE FRAME ALONE IS WORTH A FEW HUNDRED. THE PICTURE INSIDE THE FRAME IS 19.5" X 15" AND WITH THE FRAME IT IS 26.5" X 22".
