Description: This solid brass 2-arm chandelier was originally gas and dates from the 1870's. It was professionally restored and converted to electric. The style is classic Egyptian Revival Victorian. Notice the wonderful Egyptian headdress and clothing on the 4 applied brass medallions. The curvaceous arms support early etched glass gas shades. The shades are in excellent condition and measure 8.5" in diameter. The fixture is ready to be wired directly into your home. There is also a matching 4-arm chandelier that is available. The shades on the 4-arm are different.
