This was acquired out of a Central Ohio area previous estate, home or sale. WOW!!!!! This is a nice looking 1870-80s original finish solid Walnut and fine Burl Walnut panels Buffet or Sideboard Server. As you can see in the photos below this has a wonderful original OGEE cut black grain vein marble top. What is rather nice about this buffet is that it has a wonderful fruit carved top center. This fruit carving is 5 inches wide, 8 ½ inches tall and 1 ¾ inches thick. The outside measurements are 82 ½ inches tall, 49 inches wide and 19 inches front to back. The marble is 49 inches wide and 19 inches front to back. The base is 38 inches tall. The shelf under the fruit carving is 44 ½ inches wide and 8 ½ inches front to back. Under this shelf you will find the wonderful Oval Burl Walnut panel and this panel is 28 ½ inches wide and 10 ½ inches tall. The right drawer is divided for Silverware and dovetailed. Both drawers are 18 inches wide, 15 inches front to back and 4 inches deep. The 2 bottom doors has wonderful burl panels as well and are 18 ¼ inches wide and 24 inches tall. THIS PIECE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION FOR IT'S AGE. But, if I was this old, I would have a few bumps and bruises on me as well. The majority of the furniture items that we sell are considered antique pieces which range in age from 50 to 250 years old. Some pieces will have bumps, bruises, or normal wear because of the age.
