This case has a rectangular plain form with rounded corners.
The front cover has enamelled decoration depicting a typical English hunting scene of red-coated huntsmen, horses and hounds.
The case has a push button catch and original gilt interior.
The case is an extremely good gauge of silver, very good quality and in excellent condition.
There are surface scratches to the underside of the case, as to be expected with an item of this type and age.
The enamel is in perfect condition.
Both sets of interior hallmarks are clear.
