The sterling silver base and cover have a circular shaped form with pierced decoration.
The cover and base have a plain vacant cartouche.
The original hallmarked finial is modelled in the form of a recumbent cow.
This butter dish is very good quality with a good gauge of silver.
The glass is in perfect condition.
The silver is in excellent condition with very clear hallmarks.
