Description:
This vesta has a rectangular form with rounded corners.
The hallmarked hinged cover has a ring link attachment.
There is a serrated striker to the bottom of the case.
There is an inlaid enamel picture to the front of the vesta case depicting a seated Victorian prima ballerina with a bouquet and fan.
To the reverse of the case there are contemporary engraved initials 'HRM'.
This vesta case is a very good gauge of gold, very good quality and in excellent condition.
The enamel is in perfect condition.
The hallmarks, apart from the maker's mark which is rubbed, are very clear.
