Description: A Victorian upholstered childs high chair made about 1850-70 in mahogany was made to pull up to the dining table in an era when teaching children proper manners was important. It also comes apart and becomes a seperate table and chair for the child to play at when the teaching time was over.. It has very nice turnings and is upholstered in a muslin. The table is 13 1/2 high when seperated. The foot rail also detaches.
