Description: A stunning Victorian Champleve pendant necklace uspended on multi strands of braided black seed beads, intricately jointed at either side toward the upper half of the necklace, as illustrated in the photograph. The pendant is enamel guilloch, black enamel leaves and foillage with a single bird sitting on a branch. The background is a silvery gray color. The enamel was fired leaving a highly reflective finish. On the base of the pendant are three groups of dangling tiny black glass beads. The pendant is enamel over copper. There is no clasp as this necklace is long enough to easily go over the head. The length is a total of 28-1/2" inches (hangling length of 14-1/4". Excellent vntage condition.
