Description:
This bulbous round vase approximates the original Chinese Sang de Boeuf (oxblood) glaze used on pottery centuries ago. It is whispered that this lovely hand decorated vase may be by Thomas Webb, but we cannot say with certainty. However, it is a truly rare color for glass, and is obviously the work of a top quality Victorian blown glass manufacturer. It emits a subtle glow under black light.
