Description: Carved Oak Victorian Slipper Chair or Photographer’s Chair circa 1850-1885. The style of side chair seen in tin types with a man standing on the side of the chair with his hand resting on the crest. Intricately carved crest with fruit/nuts/ leaves. Beautiful turned legs and stretchers. Four carved flowers on the front legs, which have wheels. Reupholstered in a small print gold fabric. A unique example of a slipper chair. Great accent and conversation piece for any room.
