Description: This lovely American Victorian Black Walnut Cane Seat Chair, circa 1875, would make a perfect addition to any room in the home or office. It is constructed out of solid black walnut with a cane seat. The top rail is crowned by a decorative design with carved finials between the first and second rail. A crest-like design centers the curved back splat that rests between the second and lower rail. Pendant finials compliment the lower rail, adding just the right finishing touch. A petite scrolled seat rail centers the cane seat, which is supported by turned front legs and spreaders. The American Victorian Black Walnut Cane Seat Chair is in the original finish and measures, 35.50” H X 18.75” W X 16.75” D.
