Description: Awesome ! This Victorian 1880 silk and lace Wedding or Ball Gown is floor length, with a long train on the back ! It is very detailed, with rows and rows of ruffles. The drop waist has a large fabric bow at the back. The three quarter length sleeves have beautiful gathers and lace. This gown has hook closures hidden down the front. I am guessing it is a size 10 or 12 Misses. My mannequin has a smaller waist, and so I have it pinned in the front while she wears it ! The lovely jewel neckline has a gathered ruffle also. This dress is in excellent wearable condition. There are no major holes or tears. Overall, a wonderful, unusual treasure from the past !! In great condition, and has not been cleaned by us.
