Description: A fine and unusual Victorian period 14K gold pin / pendant, c. 1880. The lower gold border has a stippled ground with black taille d'apargne enameling. The circular piece is black enamel with a white enamel border and seed pearls in the center. The original C clasp has been replaced, but the crystal is there with an old picture of a child. A jump ring has been added to allow it to be worn on a chain, but it can easily come off. The pin tests 14K gold and measures 1 1/4" high (not including the ring) and 1 3/8" wide. Condition is very good.
