Description: Wonderful Victorian 10K solid yellow gold hand carved shell cameo pin/pendant. Features a lovely carving of (Greek) Demeter, or (Roman) Ceres: Goddess of the Harvest, identified by the chaff of wheat accents on the bodice and in the hair. Gorgeous filigree work, and raised green gold floral accents with seed pearl centers. Measures 1-3/4" x 1-1/2", shell measures 1-3/8" x 1". Marked "10K" on the clasp, has hinged bail so that it can also be worn as a pendant. In excellent condition, circa 1900. $7.95 US ship/insure.
