Description: Excellent Grandfathers clock in a most unusual solid circasian walnut case. The fine quality nine tube movement is stamped "Made in England 1459" on the back. It plays Whittington, Westminster or Saint Michaels chimes. The face was polished in the past. The tubes are in great condition and are signed by Walter Durfee, RI. The clock was retailed originally by "Tiffany & Company" (signed on the face). The case has extraordinary rich grain. It features a carved top and front and glass on three sides of the case.
