Description:
This case has a plain rectangular rounded form, slightly convex to the front and concave to the plain reverse. There is embossed and chased decoration to the front of the cigar case depicting a golfer in full swing, attired in period, Edwardian dress. The hinged compartments have a push fit catch and thumbpiece. This case is a very good gauge of silver, very good quality and in excellent condition. The hallmarks struck to the interior of both covers are all very clear apart from some wear to the maker's mark. Reflections in photography may detract from the true representation of this item. Height 12.7cm/5", Width 8cm/2.4", Depth 1.5cm/0.6", Weight 5 troy ounces/155g. Alternative images available on request.
